888poker (888 poker): poker room review, $88 no deposit bonus and access from Ukraine in 2026
888poker — the evoke group's poker room, running since 2002 and among the five largest in the world by cash-table traffic. It is the poker room, not the casino, that offers the only no-deposit bonus in the brand's ecosystem — $88 after verification. The 888 poker casino link-up means one account for the poker room, the casino and 888sport: a single 888 login, one wallet and instant transfers between products. 888 poker is unavailable in Ukraine just like the casino: the country is on the restricted list, and the domain is blocked by PlayCity. This review covers bonus terms, game formats, software, payments and the real status for Ukrainian players. The casino review — is on the 888 Casino home page.

Does 888 poker work in Ukraine?
No. Ukraine is on 888poker's list of restricted countries together with Russia, Poland and France. Registration with Ukrainian passport details fails the check, and logging in from a Ukrainian IP address returns a restricted access page. The 888poker.com domain is on the blocking register of the State Agency PlayCity, which replaced KRAIL on 21 March 2025 and in 2024 blocked 4,460 gambling sites without a Ukrainian licence.
Until 2022, 888 poker had a Russian-language client and accepted players from Ukraine, so a large base of accounts remains in the country. All of them have been switched to withdrawal-only mode: login works, the tables are closed, and the remaining balance is withdrawn via the cashier to the same payment method used for the deposit. As of October 2026 there are no poker rooms with a PlayCity licence in Ukraine; legal poker is only possible in the poker sections of licensed casinos — GGbet, Vbet, SuperGra, First.ua.
888 poker $88 no deposit bonus
The $88 bonus is credited to new players after registration and confirmation of their email and phone — no deposit is required. The money arrives in two parts.
- $8 right after verification: $1 for cash tables and $7 in $0.50 tournament tickets valid for 7 days. This part has no wagering requirement.
- $80 in $8 instalments for every 250 status points, i.e. for every $125 in rake. You have 6 months to release it; any unreleased balance expires.
The bonus can be claimed once per account, address and payment method. The document check before crediting takes up to 72 hours. Funds from the $88 can only be used at the poker tables — they cannot be transferred to the casino or to betting, even though the account is shared.
Deposit bonus and promo code
A first deposit of $10 or more is doubled up to $888 with the promo code WELCOME100, which is entered in the cashier before payment. The bonus goes to a bonus account and is released to the real-money account in $10 instalments for every 100 status points ($50 in rake). You have 90 days to release it in full. Deposits via Skrill and Neteller do not qualify for the bonus. Playing an average of 20 hours a week at NL50 tables, a player releases about $180 in the first 10 hours and the full bonus — within 60 days.
888Club loyalty programme
Status points are awarded for rake and tournament fees: 2 points per $1 of rake. The programme has over 2,000 levels; moving up a level opens a chest with cash, tournament tickets or bonuses. Rakeback is indirect — through chests and weekly promotions, and amounts to 3–5% at the lower levels and up to 12.5% at the top. Status does not expire as long as at least 100 points are earned in a month.
Freerolls
Every day there are free tournaments with prize pools of $100–$1,000 for all registered players, and weekly $5,000 freerolls for those who have made a deposit in the last 30 days. Passwords for private freerolls are given out by partner sites to their players; the operator itself does not publish passwords, and a freeroll password 888 from a third-party site only works for players registered through that site.
Game formats at 888poker

The 888 poker room's busiest traffic is at NL10–NL50 hold'em in the evening Central European Time, from 19:00 to 23:00. Omaha fills tables up to PLO100. There are few heads-up tables. Every year 888 poker runs three XL series — Winter, Spring and Autumn — with guarantees from $1 million; XL Autumn 2026 took place in September. In October 2026 a separate room was opened for the province of Alberta with a ring-fenced player pool.
888 poker software and client download
The Poker8 client installs on Windows and macOS; it is downloaded from the official site via a button on the home page, and the installer is about 60 MB. The client supports up to 6 tables at once, theme switching, a four-colour deck, player notes, and trackers with a HUD for cash tables and SNAP. The mobile app for iOS and Android offers cash, SNAP, BLAST and tournaments; it has been removed from the Ukrainian stores, so it cannot be installed from a Ukrainian Apple or Google account. The browser version works without installation and opens cash tables and BLAST.
888 poker and casino: one account
The 888poker account is the same one used at 888 Casino and at the bookmaker. In the 888 poker client, the casino opens from a tab in the top menu — slots and live tables are available without logging in again, and transfers between wallets are instant in the cashier. Each product has its own bonuses: 888 poker does not carry the poker $88 over to the casino, and casino free spins cannot be used at the tables. Bonus wagering is also separate — slot bets do not earn poker status points. The login procedure and password recovery — on the 888 Casino login page.
Deposits and withdrawals at 888 poker
The minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal — $10. Account currencies — USD, EUR, GBP, CAD. Withdrawals go to the same method used for the deposit; the request is reviewed within 1–3 business days, and before the first withdrawal passport and address verification is required — up to 48 hours.

888 poker reliability
888 poker operates under Gibraltar licences No. 112 and 113, Malta licence MGA/CRP/543/2018 and United Kingdom licence No. 39028; the random number generator is certified by iTech Labs. The owner is evoke plc, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange, which on 5 June 2026 agreed to a takeover by Bally's Intralot for £243 million; the deal closes around the turn of 2026–2027 and does not change the licences. The security team blocks bots and collusion: in 2025 the room closed over 2,000 accounts for using prohibited software and refunded the affected players. Support works around the clock via chat in the client and by email at [email protected]; it does not offer help in Ukrainian.
